Silvia Paoletti

Silvia Paoletti (MSc in Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management, Ghent University 2019) is a marine ecologist who specializes in marine conservation, ecosystem-based management and fisheries. Within RBINS, she is currently working on the assessment of marine areas for protection designation and demarcation for fisheries measures under the conservation objectives set by Natura 2000 and the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. Accordingly, her research is focused on the analysis of benthic communities and the characterization of seafloor habitats.
